DHI Philippines has been awarded to conduct an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) study on the construction, operation and abandonment of a proposed resort at El Nido island, Palawan, Philippines. El Nido is a protected area, and the EIS will identify areas of concern with respect to the environmental impact of the proposed project, and provide recommendations for mitigation measures (if any) to ensure the project is environmentally sound for the entire lifetime of the resort.
