Dear Sir/Madam,
We are pleased to provide an update to the 6th Asia Pacific MIKE Software Conference (organized by DHI Singapore) which is taking place between 12~13 October 2009 at The Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore. This is a great opportunity to mingle and exchange experiences with participants (academia, technical professionals and policy makers) in the water and environment industry from the Asia-Pacific region.
We are also pleased to announce a presentation by the DHI-NTU Research & Education Hub (Singapore) on the topic “A tsunami generation tool to calculate sea bottom deformation for MIKE 21 HD” during this conference. There are many more exciting presentations in store for the conference and just to name a few:
· Real-time Hydrological Forecasts using MIKE Flood Watch (Australia)
· Sediment Transport modeling of the Madura Straits using MIKE 21 (Indonesia)
· Prediction of larval dispersal patterns within the Singapore Straits using MIKE 21 (Singapore)
· Updates on DHI’s Marine Water Forecasting Systems
· Introduction of a new exciting automation system for Environmental Monitoring and Management Plan (EMMP)
Not forgetting an afternoon of sharing and software demonstration with DHI experts on what’s new in MIKE by DHI software 2009.
There are still opportunities for paper presentations or conference participations, so if you’re interested (or know of anybody who is interested) please let us know or pass on this email.
